Audionotes accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, AAC, FLAC, AIFF, AMR, OPUS, and WMA. If your file is in a less common format, run it through a free converter first — we recommend FFmpeg or any online format converter.
Audionotes accepts MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WMV, FLV, and WebM. The audio track is extracted and transcribed; the video itself is not stored. You can also paste a YouTube URL directly without downloading.
Free plan: up to 10 MB or 1 minute per file. Pro plan: up to 500 MB per file or 6 hours of audio (whichever comes first). YouTube videos up to 6 hours are supported on Pro. See full plans & pricing.
Free: 1 minute per recording. Pro: 6 hours per audio recording, 6 hours per YouTube video. There is no monthly upload limit on Pro — only the per-file caps. See full plans & pricing.
Yes. PNG, JPG, JPEG, HEIC, and WebP images up to 10 MB are accepted. Audionotes runs OCR + AI summarisation on the image content (handwritten notes, slides, whiteboards, screenshots).
Pro plan supports up to 20,000 characters per text note. That covers most long-form drafts, transcripts you want to paste in, or research notes. Need more? Split into linked notes — Audionotes preserves cross-references in summaries.
The upload fails before processing starts and you see a clear error message with the exact limit. You can split a long recording into chunks (most audio editors will let you do this in seconds) and upload separately.
