Welcome to Audionotes.app (“Audionotes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by 1811 Labs (Vatsal Sanghvi). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our applications available on iOS, Android, Web, and the Chrome Web Store (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.


2. Changes to Terms

We may revise or update these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.


3. Eligibility

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

5.2 Content Standards

You must not upload or share content that is:

  • Defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.

  • Promoting violence, discrimination, or sexually explicit material.

  • Infringing on intellectual property, trade secrets, or proprietary rights of others.



6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in the Services (including software, code, text, design, and AI models used to generate summaries) remain with Audionotes, 1811 Labs, and our licensors.


6.2 Trademarks

The Audionotes name, logo, and related marks are protected trademarks. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.


7. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.


8. User Content

8.1 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any audio recordings, notes, or content you submit through the Services (“User Content”).


8.2 License to Audionotes

By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, and display your User Content only as necessary to provide and improve the Services.


9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Services.

  • Use the Services for unlawful or harmful purposes.

  • Remove or obscure copyright or proprietary notices.

  • Harvest or misuse personal data of others.


10. Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with third-party providers, including but not limited to:

  • OpenAI (AI-based processing)

  • Deepgram (speech-to-text transcription)

  • Hosting, storage, and analytics providers

We are not responsible for third-party services, which are governed by their own terms and policies.


11. Disclaimers and Limitations

11.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.


11.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Audionotes, 1811 Labs, its founder, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, resulting from:

  • Use or inability to use the Services.

  • Third-party services or conduct.

  • Unauthorized access or use of your data.


12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Audionotes, 1811 Labs, its founder, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your:

  • Use of the Services.

  • Violation of these Terms.

  • Infringement of third-party rights.


13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion.


13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any lawful reason.


13.3 Survival

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, but sections relating to ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability survive.


14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.


15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain enforceable.


16. No Waiver

Failure to enforce any right under these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right.


17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and Audionotes.


18. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without liability.


19. Electronic Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive communications electronically. Such communications satisfy any legal requirement for written communication.


20. Feedback

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation.
