1811 Labs was founded with a simple idea: pick one small, real problem, apply generative AI with real craft, and ship something people actually want to use. Not a platform. Not a suite. A thing that does one thing beautifully.
Audionotes was that first bet. Voice recordings were everywhere — meetings, lectures, brain-dumps at 2am — but every existing tool treated transcription as the destination. We thought the transcript was just the beginning. So we built a companion that turns anything you capture into something you can actually use.
