When OpenAI released Whisper, transcription suddenly became dramatically better — and almost overnight, commoditized. That shift mattered.

For the first time, voice could reliably become structured text at scale. And we saw an entirely new category of products and workflows emerge around it. We believed this wasn't just about transcription getting cheaper or more accurate.

We believed the world was moving toward a voice-first way of thinking, capturing, and creating — powered by LLMs.

People already spoke faster than they typed. Ideas happened while walking, driving, working, thinking, living. Voice notes were everywhere: meetings, lectures, brainstorms, journals, random late-night thoughts. But most tools stopped at transcription.

We thought transcription was just the starting point.

So in May 2023, we started building Audionotes — a voice-first AI note-taking app that helps people turn raw recordings into something genuinely useful: structured notes, summaries, tasks, study material, content drafts, insights, and more.

Since then, we've continuously evolved the product:

• Rebuilt and revamped the experience multiple times
• Improved performance, reliability, and note quality

• Designed generous plans people can actually use every day
